Zed is a private photo journal with a small, mutual circle. It is not an advertising business, so this policy is short: we collect what the app needs to work, we do not sell anything about you, and there are no third-party trackers or advertising SDKs in the app.

What we store

What we never do

Who can see your photos

Nothing you capture is visible to anyone by default. A moment becomes visible only when you choose it: to your circle, which requires both people to accept each other, or to the public map, where it appears anonymously with its location coarsened to a general area and with no link to your account or to your other public photos.

Who processes data for us

Keeping and deleting

Your moments are kept until you delete them or delete your account. Deleting a photo removes it from our storage and from anywhere it was shared, including conversations. Deleting your account removes everything: photos, captions, locations, circle, messages and orders. It is in the app under Settings, it takes effect immediately, and there is no backup and no restoration afterwards.

Copies Zed saved to your phone’s own photo library belong to you and stay there. Delete those in the Photos app.

Your rights

You can see everything Zed holds about you inside the app, correct your profile at any time, and delete your account without asking us. If you are in the EU, the UK or California, you also have the right to request a copy of your data or its deletion by writing to help@zed.ing. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

Zed is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has an account, write to us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or who we share it with, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect.
